LIVE IN PERSON SCENARIO  (FULLY STAGED)

This scenario is for folks who have a one act piece they want to present LIVE in NYC as a fully staged conception.

Big Wave

REQUIREMENTS

  • It must be a NEW WORK. It does not, however, have to be the world premiere of it.

  • It must be a one act, NO intermissions.

  • It must run between 45 minutes and 1 hour and 45 minutes.

  • You must pay the participation fee ($450).

  • It cannot have a cast size above 8.

  • Your show must sell a minimum number of tickets or buyout the remainder of those tickets (25).

PARTICIPANTS
RECEIVE

  • Theater space for one performance in "The Siggy" at The Flea.

  • Theater space for one tech rehearsal in "The Siggy" at The Flea.

  • Professional Stage Manager, Lighting Designer, and Sound Designer.

  • Box Office Manager to handle all ticket sales and House Manager to handle all patrons. 

  • Marketing Services for the festival as whole. 

  • Individual programs for your show.

PARTICIPANTS PROVIDE

  • A fully prepared, rights secured, audience-ready production. (If the performer or stage manager is a member of the Actors’ Equity Association and your show is accepted to the Festival, you must obtain and sign the Equity Showcase Code, as the producer of your show. The Festival will be merely the presenter). 

  • All contractual, technical, and promotional materials on time when requested.

  • All travel and living expenses.

  • Your extra promotional and publicity materials (press releases, posters, postcards, on-site promotions, flyers, and anything else that will help draw attention to your show).

  • Extra technical equipment not available at the venue (i.e. projectors, extra microphones, fog machines, keyboards, etc.)

  • Respect the health and safety regulations, updated and provided before the Festival.

THINGS
TO CONSIDER

  • All participants are fully responsible for producing their own plays. This includes covering all costs of production (e.g. rehearsal space, transportation fees, salaries, marketing, props, set, actors, etc.).

  • Each show must sell the minimum ticket requirement or buyout remaining tickets. 

  • Shows will be assigned tech and performance date and time on acceptance and these cannot be changed. 

  • Sounds (as MP3's) and Lighting Cues will be due prior to your tech rehearsal.

  • It cannot have a cast size above 8.

  • Your show must sell a minimum number of tickets or buyout the remainder of those tickets (15).

This scenario is for folks who have a piece they can film, whether it be on location or on zoom, and stream online for anyone to see.

REQUIREMENTS

  • It must be a NEW WORK. It does not, however, have to be the world premiere of it.

  • It must be a one act, NO intermission.

  • It must run between 10 minutes and 2 hours and 30 minutes.

  • You must pay the participation fee ($100).

  • Your show must sell the minimum tickets or buyout the remainder of those tickets (15).

  • It must be shared with Rogue by the deadline provided. 

PARTICIPANTS
RECEIVE

  • Video Editor to put your show into a complete package. 

  • Box Office Manager for all ticket sales. 

  • Marketing Services for the festival.

  • Digital Programs for your individual show.

  • The ability for your friends and family to watch your show from anywhere!

  • Shows must be able to film their own piece (this can be on zoom!) and send it to Rogue digitally.

(If the performer or stage manager is a member of the Actors’ Equity Association and your show is accepted to the Festival, you must obtain and sign the Equity Showcase Code, as the producer of your show. The Festival will be merely the presenter).
