Rogue offers various learning opportunities throughout the week of the festival and beyond. You get the opportunity to learn from industry professionals and network with your peers. This looks like zooms with Off-Broadway playwrights, panels with NYC commercial and non-profit producers, marketing workshops and more!

Rogue is proud to blur the lines between different types of artistic expression. We want to see your work on stage! While we tend to present plays and musicals most, we are incredibly open to other forms of art like improv, burlesque, clowning and more!

WE'RE OPEN TO PARTICIPANTS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD!
Rogue is excited to open up our festival permanently to participants all over the world! If you are hoping to participate live and in person you will need to have reliable transportation and accessibility to NYC. If you are participating in our newly permanent digital version, you will be filming your piece on location, via zoom, etc. so we are eager and proud to accept that work from anywhere and everywhere.
WE WON'T TRY TO "UPSELL" YOU! NO HIDDEN FEES!
Once you're in, you're in. Rogue doesn't try to upsell any participants on "upgraded marketing" or "access to enhanced information" (things we've seen other festivals do!)
WE PROVIDE A TEAM OF PROFESSIONALS!
Rogue doesn't operate on volunteers. We hire professional designers, stage managers and front of house workers who are based in the NYC theatrical community and pay them a living and competitive wage.
WE DON'T GO ROGUE!
Rogue is here for YOU. We respond quickly to your questions and treat each participatn with the same level of care and professionalism.
WE CARE ABOUT ALL THE ARTISTS WE WORK WITH!
Unlike many festivals in New York City, we provide individual attention to each participant and show while offering a mom and pops vibe and experience. Our main goal is for you to get your show up and get it out there for everyone to see!
AFTER THE TICKET MINIMUM IS MET, YOU RECEIVE TWENTY PERCENT OF THE BOX OFFICE. YOU GET COMPS TOO!
Once you hit that minimum, Rogue will give you 20% of the tickets sold. Each production also gets 4 comps.
